The Museum of No Spectators joins the new ART CITY in Tucumcari, NM. Celebrating its Grand Opening on June 8, 2024, the large-scale sculpture park brings fine art to the high desert of New Mexico. The ambition of Art City is to elevate participatory art by providing makerspace, artist-led workshops, and artist residencies.
Museum architect and co-lead creator John Marx says, “We are very honored to have the Museum of No Spectators make its way to Art City, joining an exceptional collection of Burning Man art, including Facing the Fear Beast and Catharsis. MoNS will serve as a gallery space for both temporary exhibits as well as art that is made on-site.”
Like many of the 14 exhibiting artworks, The Museum of No Spectators is an interactive art installation from Burning Man. It will be on display for a 3-year run at Art City, which can be found off Route 66 at the intersection of I-40 and I-54.
